Avamar: Erro "O daemon SSH não está em execução" após a instalação do pacote cumulativo do SO 2024R1v2

Symptoms

Após uma instalação do OS Security Rollup 2024R1v2, um evento é registrado:

Cause

Durante a instalação do OS Security Rollup 2024R1v2, a versão do OpenSSH é atualizada para a versão 8.4p1. A nova versão aparece de forma diferente no ps -ef em comparação com as versões anteriores.

O MCS não consegue verificar se o daemon SSH está em execução e relata o status do SSH incorretamente.

Resolution

Esse problema é um falso negativo e não afeta a funcionalidade nem o desempenho do Avamar.

A engenharia confirmou que a correção está no próximo patch cumulativo do Avamar versão 19.8, 19.9, 19.10 e 19.10 SP1 nos seguintes itens:
  • 19.8: Hotfix 338843
  • 19.9: Hotfix 338827
  • 19.10 (19.10.0-135) e 19.10 SP1 (19.10.0-166): Hotfix 338839
