Connectrix NDFC: NDFC Zone Activation Date is Not Updated Correctly

Summary: After activation of the zoneset, the Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC) is showing the activation date as March 13, 2024 instead of April 18, 2024.

Symptoms

Conditions:
  • Network Time Protocol (NTP) was set up on the Nexus Dashboard with no issues.
  • NDFC is at version 12.1.3 when doing the zoning changes.
  • Zoning configuration was done from NDFC.
  • The issue persisted after rediscovery of the switches on NDFC.
Issue:
  • After activation of the zoneset, the NDFC is showing the activation date as a previous date instead of the day it was pushed.

Cause

Resolution

Cisco has raised a CSCwk00095 for this issue. The issue is expected to be addressed in a future NDFC release.
