Scenario

SDS-apparaat mislukt of rapporteert fouten, wanneer u SDS "clear device error" probeert te gebruiken, blijft het apparaat in een fout- of foutstatus.

Symptomen

ScaleIO-systeemgebeurtenissen melden fouten of storingen van schijfapparaten:

Impact

Het schijfapparaat blijft als mislukt.
U kunt SDS-apparaatfouten niet wissen.

Cause

Wanneer er een probleem is met het schijfapparaat en het schijfapparaat om welke reden dan ook niet reageert, wordt het schijfapparaat offline gehaald door het besturingssysteem.
 
Opmerking: Als het schijfapparaat niet goed werkt, keert het apparaat niet terug naar een online status en moet het schijfapparaat mogelijk worden vervangen.

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing

SVM - Linux-omgeving:

  1. Controleer de huidige status van het schijfapparaat:
[root@ssltest ~]# cat /sys/block/sdx/device/state
offline
  1. Als het schijfapparaat is gemarkeerd als "offline", gebruikt u de volgende opdracht om het schijfapparaat online te zetten:
echo "running" > /sys/block/sdx/device/state
  1. Wis met behulp van SCLI of de gebruikersinterface de SDS-apparaatfout .


Windows-omgeving:

  1. Controleer de huidige status van het schijfapparaat met behulp van "Logical Disk Manager" of Disk Part:

Een alternatieve optie voor een online schijfapparaat op elk besturingssysteem:


Opmerking: Deze optie vereist "downtime" en activeert opnieuw opbouwen/opnieuw balanceren op het ScaleIO-systeem:
 
  1. Zet de SDS indien mogelijk in de onderhoudsmodus
  2. SDS opnieuw opstarten Server
  3. Sluit de onderhoudsmodus af (indien gedaan bij stap één)
  4. Wis SDS-apparaatfout (met UI of CLI)
  5. Controleer apparaatstatus in ScaleIO
