In de Dell Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI) voor VMware vSphere Client geeft de effectieve capaciteit statistieken weer:

 

  • Wordt gebruikt door VMware , wat wordt berekend door de som van het PowerMax-volume en de capaciteit van het bestandssysteem die wordt verbruikt door VMware-datastores (zoals VMFS, NFS, enz.) en VM's. 

Gebruikt door VMware = Totale effectieve gebruikte capaciteit door VMware-resources/Totale effectieve gebruikte capaciteit 

In de onderstaande schermafbeelding is dit 0,9% (afgerond) = 0,07 TB (70 GB) / 7,7 TB (7884,8 GB) x100

(7,7 TB×1024 GB/TB=7884,8 GB)

  • Used by Non VMWare = Vertegenwoordigt de capaciteit die NIET wordt gebruikt door VMware = Totale effectieve gebruikte capaciteit - Used by VMware.

In de onderstaande schermafbeelding is dit 7,7 TB - 0,1 TB (70GB) = 7,6 (AFRONDING 7,67)

 

Effectieve capaciteit VSI

De statistiek Effectief gebruikt in het gedeelte Databesparingen toont de gecombineerde effectief gebruikte capaciteit van "Used by VMWare" en "Used by Non VMWare".
