I Dell Virtual Storage Integrator (VSI) för VMware vSphere Client visar den effektiva kapaciteten mätvärden:

 

  • Används av VMWare och beräknas utifrån summan av den PowerMax-volym och -filsystemkapacitet som förbrukas av VMware-datalager (t.ex. VMFS, NFS osv.) och virtuella maskiner. 

Används av VMware = Total effektiv använd kapacitet av VMware-resurser/Total effektiv använd kapacitet 

I skärmbilden nedan är detta 0,9 % (avrundat) = 0,07 TB (70 GB)/7,7 TB (7884,8 GB) x100

(7,7 TB×1024 GB/TB=7884,8 GB)

  • Används av icke-VMWare = representerar kapaciteten som INTE används av VMware = Total effektiv använd kapacitet – används av VMWare.

I skärmbilden nedan är detta 7,7 TB – 0,1 TB (70 GB) = 7,6 (AVRUNDAT 7,67)

 

VSI med effektiv kapacitet

Måttet Effektiv användning i avsnittet Databesparingar visar den kombinerade effektiva använda kapaciteten för "Används av VMWare" och "Används av icke-VMWare".
