시나리오

이 시나리오에서 사용자는 PowerFlex 16G 어플라이언스를 가지고 있으며 MVM(PFMP) 노드용 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 이미지를 가져오고 있습니다.

PFMP 설치는 두 번째 단계에서 74%로 실패합니다.

Cause

CMO는 Helm 차트를 올바르게 설정하기 위해 UMASK 022가 필요합니다. UMASK 027은 rwx 권한이 있는 root, rx 권한이 있는 그룹, 다른 사람에 대한 권한이 없는 그룹을 제공합니다.

Resolution

수정:

3개의 MVM(PFMP) 노드 모두에서 UMASK 값을 수정합니다.

UMASK를 0022로 변경하려면 다음을 수행합니다.

  1. UMASK 값 업데이트 
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. 구성을로드합니다.
source /etc/profile
  1. 셸을 종료하고 다시 로그인하십시오.

최신 구성이 업데이트됩니다. #테스트: 새 파일을 만드는 경우 644 권한으로 만들어집니다.

값이 수정된 후:

  • PFMP 설치 프로그램 다시 설정
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • PFMP 설치 관리자 설정
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • PFMP 설치 시작
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x 릴리스 노트에는 다음과 같은 내용이 나와 있습니다(페이지 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
