Symptoms
As of Data Protection Adviser (DPA) version 19.8 and all future versions the Application Clustering feature will no longer be available nor supported. The Application Clustering feature will still be supported through DPA 19.7 (and below), and will deprecated after that version.
The Application Clustering feature and configuration is described in the DPA Installation and Administration guide available on the DPA product support site. A summary of the feature from the guide is as below:
This specific feature is the only DPA feature being depreciated. No other DPA features are affected by this depreciation.

"You can set DPA up in a clustered configuration, with multiple DPA Application Servers working with a single DPA Datastore Server. Clustering allows the ability for Application servers to dynamically start, share workload with other Application servers, and be stopped as demand decreases."

Cause
Data Protection Adviser (DPA) is deprecating the Application Clustering feature and it will no longer be available nor supported as of DPA 19.8 and all future versions. The Application Clustering feature will still be supported through DPA 19.7 (and below), and will deprecated after that version.
Resolution
The Application Clustering feature is being deprecated and will no longer be supported as of DPA 19.8. All prior versions, such as DPA 19.7 will continue to support this feature until the version's scheduled End Of Service Life (EOSL).
Once DPA 19.7 reaches End Of Service Life (EOSL) the Application Clustering feature will no longer be available or supported in any version of DPA.
