DLm: "Could Not Run Command on VTEn" Error When Using System Manager Command

Symptoms
DLm command issued through DLm System Manager returns the message:
Could not run command on VTEnCause
DLm firmware versions 5.2 and 5.3 releases display a generic error message that does not accurately reflect the underlying issue.
This has been improved in version 5.4 and later releases, where the error message has been updated to more specifically identify the root cause.
Resolution
This is addressed in Version 5.4 and later release, where the error message has been updated to more specifically identify the root cause: Error: Command Timed Out.
Workaround:
None
Note: Although an error message appears on the DSM Console panel, the Virtuent command completes successfully. Check the DSM Log panel for the command result.
