Symptoms

Podczas próby zastąpienia podrzędnego węzła MDM węzłem rezerwowym, w dzienniku zdarzeń pojawia się następujący błąd:

22892 2017-10-03 07:50:21.908 CLI_COMMAND_FAILED        WARNING          Command REPLACE_CLUSTER_MDM was not successful. Error code: The MDM could not be found [3982]

Użyte polecenie brzmiało:

#scli --replace_cluster_mdm --add_slave_mdm_name Manager2 --remove_slave_mdm_name Manager3 --allow_leave_failed --i_am_sure

Gdzie wszystkie zapytania wyglądałyby następująco:

#scli --query_cluster

Cause

W węźle rezerwowym nie zainstalowano pakietu MDM.

Resolution

Wymontuj węzeł rezerwowy:

#scli --remove_standby_mdm --remove_mdm_name Manager2

Install the MDM package on the standby mode - for svm: 

#MDM_ROLE_IS_MANAGER=1 rpm -i < package >

Add the standby node back to the cluster:

#scli --add_standby_mdm --mdm_role manager --new_mdm_ip x.x.x.x,x.x.x.x --new_mdm_name Manager2 --new_mdm_management_ip x.x.x.x

Then run the '--replace_cluster_mdm ' command again.
