Symptoms



When accessing VTL page in the Data Domain System Manager (DDSM), the following error may be seen.  DDSM may hang as well after clicking close.
  
(TypeError) : Cannot read property 'a' of null

Cause

VTL Pools/Vault pages will have a donut chart to display the space usage of each cloud provider. Each provider in donut chart was represented by unique color. The color for new provider added recently, was not updated in GUI, which resulted in this exception.

Affected Cloud Providers are Google, Ali Cloud, S3 Generic and AWS ATOS.

Resolution

As a workaround, use the CLI instead of the System Manger GUI to access VTL information.
