Cause

Uszkodzenie bazy danych vCenter Postgres powoduje niepowodzenie aktualizacji vCenter podczas eksportu bazy danych. 

Resolution

Krok 1: Zaloguj się do interfejsu IDPA vCenter.

Krok 2: Sklonuj maszynę wirtualną vCenter.
  • Kliknij prawym przyciskiem myszy VCSA VM --> Clone to Virtual Machine. 
  • Wybierz nazwę sklonowanej maszyny i inne szczegóły, a następnie kliknij przycisk OK. 

Krok 3: Wykonaj operację cofnięcia dla maszyny wirtualnej vCenter w interfejsie użytkownika ACM. 
  • Kliknij pole wyboru Troubleshooting Options. Kliknij opcję Rollback for vCenter Upgrade.  

Krok 4: Połącz się z maszyną wirtualną vCenter za pomocą protokołu SSH i zatrzymaj usługę vpxd.
  • service-control --stop vpxd

Krok 5: Zaloguj się do bazy danych vCenter Postgres.
  • /opt/vmware/vpostgres/current/bin/psql -d VCDB -U postgres
Krok 6: Uruchom następujące kwerendy/polecenia w bazie danych vCenter Postgres:
  • SET zero_damaged_pages = on;
  • VACUUM FULL ANALYSE VERBOSE;
  • REINDEX table vpx_topn_past_month;
  • select * from vpx_topn_past_month;
  • SET zero_damaged_pages = off;
Krok 7: Przejdź do interfejsu użytkownika ACM, kliknij przycisk Retry for vCenter Upgrade i monitoruj.
