Cause

vCenter Postgres Veritabanı bozulması, DB Export (Dışa Aktarma) görevi sırasında vCenter yükseltmesinin başarısızlıkla sonuçlanmasına neden oldu. 

Resolution

1. Adım: IDPA vCenter kullanıcı arayüzünde oturum açın.

2. Adım: vCenter VM'nin bir klonunu oluşturun.
  • VCSA VM'ye sağ tıklayın --> Clone to Virtual Machine (Sanal Makineye Klonla) seçeneğini belirleyin. 
  • Klonun adını ve diğer ayrıntıları seçin, ardından OK (Tamam) öğesine tıklayın. 

3. Adım: ACM kullanıcı arayüzünde vCenter VM için geri alma işlemi gerçekleştirin. 
  • Troubleshooting Options (Sorun Giderme Seçenekleri) onay kutusuna tıklayın. Rollback for vCenter Upgrade (vCenter Yükseltmesi için Geri Alma) öğesine tıklayın.  

4. Adım: vCenter VM'ye SSH bağlantısı açın ve vpxd hizmetini durdurun.
  • service-control --stop vpxd

5. Adım: vCenter Postgres DB'de oturum açın.
  • /opt/vmware/vpostgres/current/bin/psql -d VCDB -U postgres
6. Adım: vCenter Postgres db'de aşağıdaki sorguları/komutları çalıştırın:
  • SET zero_damaged_pages = on;
  • VACUUM FULL ANALYSE VERBOSE;
  • REINDEX table vpx_topn_past_month;
  • select * from vpx_topn_past_month;
  • SET zero_damaged_pages = off;
7. Adım: ACM kullanıcı arayüzüne gidin, Retry for vCenter Upgrade (vCenter Yükseltme için Tekrar Dene) öğesine tıklayın ve işlemi izleyin.
