NVIDIA H100 GPU nvidia-smi output reports incorrect aggregate SRAM correctable value

Symptoms

Example output from "nvidia-smi -q -d ECC" command:

 

NVSMI log output with aggregate SRAM correctable value of 18446744073709551615

In the above example, the aggregate SRAM correctable value of 18446744073709551615 is unusually high and incorrect.

 

Cause

The SRAM counter is being miscalculated.

Resolution

Update to NVIDIA H100 driver package version 570.124.06 or higher.
