每個 PowerMax 或 VMAX 儲存陣列都有唯一的序號。
序列號有兩種形式，一種嚴格地說是數位，另一種前面有兩個字母。例如：
HK1202xxxxx
字母和第一個數字表示製造地點。接下來的三個數字代表 PowerMax 或 VMAX 的特定型號。在命令行介面 （CLI） 中，序號通常不帶字母。
若要取得儲存陣列的序號：
有三種方法可以查找存儲陣列的序列號;從儲存陣列上的貼紙、PowerMax 的 Unisphere 管理介面或命令行介面 （SYMCLI） 中。
從儲存陣列上的貼紙：
序號位於儲存陣列的小貼紙上。就典型的 Dell 機架安裝而言，貼紙位於前蓋後方的機架頂端，表示機櫃內的序號。
從 PowerMax Web 管理介面的 Unisphere：
- 登入 PowerMax Web 系統管理介面的 Unisphere。
- 在首頁畫面或 （或者） 系統檢視中，您會看到管理主機可看見的所有 PowerMax 和 VMAX 儲存陣列清單，並以序號顯示。
從命令行介面：
- 開啟命令提示字元並登入。
- 執行下列命令，列出管理主機可看到的所有 PowerMax 和 VMAX 儲存陣列：
symcfg list
