  1. Generareunachiaveprivatautilizzandoilseguentecomando:
ssh-keygen -b 2048 -t rsa

 

  1. Inserire un percorso file per salvare le chiavi pubbliche e private o procedere con il percorso file predefinito senza una passphrase: Output di esempio:

 

Enter file in which to save the key (/root/.ssh/id_rsa):
Enter passphrase: # do not enter a passphrase
Enter same passphrase again: # do not enter a passphrase

 

Output di esempio che indica che le chiavi pubbliche e private vengono salvate nel percorso file predefinito:
