Cause

The planned failover fails in a case where an interface configured on the user bond is not available on the destination appliance.

NDU to version 4.0.0.0 fails when an interface is configured on the user bond of the source appliance, but is not available on the destination appliance.

Resolution

Override the file interface settings on the destination NAS server file interface and assign the appropriate bond with it. The alert is cleared, and a planned failover or NDU can be performed without any issue.
