I vissa bärbara Dell 2017-datorer som använder SATA SED:er fungerar inte styrplattan i miljön för autentisering före start när Dells Self-Encrypting Drive Manager används i äldre startläge.

Om datorn försätts i viloläge när Legacy PBA installeras fungerar dessutom inte styrplattan i operativsystemet när den kommer ut ur viloläget.

De här problemen uppstår inte om datorn och PBA körs i UEFI-läge.

Resolution

Kunder kan använda den interna styrsticksmusen eller en extern USB-mus.

Obs! De här problemen löses med Dell Encryption v8.17.1 eller senare.
