在部分使用 SATA SED 的 Dell 2017 筆記型電腦中，在傳統開機模式中使用 Dell 的自我加密磁碟機管理員時，觸控板無法在開機前驗證環境中運作。
此外，如果電腦在安裝舊版 PBA 時處於休眠狀態，則從休眠狀態出來時，觸控墊無法在作業系統中運作。
如果電腦和 PBA 在 UEFI 模式下執行，就不會發生這些問題。
