Symptoms

Le test de l’authentification utilisateur LDAP dans DPA entraîne l’échec du test avec l’erreur suivante :
Impossible d’authentifier l’utilisateur sur le serveur LDAP.

Dans le fichier server.log, l’avertissement suivant se trouve :
2021-09-27 10:53:00,395 DEBUG [com.emc.apollo.command.ldapconfig.LDAPAuthenticationStrategy] (Thread-60176) searchFilter est (sAMAccountName =testuser). base DN DC=dpa,DC=com
2021-09-27 10:53:00,410 WARN [com.emc.apollo.command.ldapconfig.LDAPAuthenticationStrategy] (Thread-60176) Error occurred while testing user authentication. : javax.naming.directory.InvalidSearchFilterException : invalid attribute description; nom restant 'DC=dpa,DC=com'

Cause

Dans le message d’avertissement, le texte en surbrillance indique qu’un espace a été saisi à la fin du paramètre sAMAccountName sur la page « Manage External Authentication » de l’interface DPA.

Resolution

  1. Dans l’interface utilisateur DPA, ouvrez la page User & Security>External Authentication .
  2. Vérifiez le champ Identification Attribut .
  3. Assurez-vous qu’aucun espace n’est saisi à la fin de sAMAccountName.
