Symptoms

NetWorker automated Recovery fails with the below error in the apps.log on the Cyber Recovery host:

Cause

The NetWorker asset is configured in Cyber Recovery with a user other than the root user. As stated in the product guide, the NetWorker application must be added with the root user. 

Root permission is a requirement
 

Resolution

Edit the NetWorker application in Cyber Recovery and configure with the root user.
