Symptoms
When the PowerEdge XE7745 - XE7740 system has a critical GPU FAN fault event in power on state, the GPU FAN LEDs keep solid green. They are expected to blink amber.
Cause
The FAN LEDs do not work as expected.
Resolution
It is targeted to fix by iDRAC release in July 2025.
As a workaround, users can check the FAN status through iDRAC, and also the system configuration LED lights amber when there is a FAN fault.
