Symptoms

The AWCC user interface may not scale correctly when the window is resized. The application launches in full-screen mode, but the screen fails to adjust proportionally when reducing the window size.

  • Alienware Command Center (AWCC) Version 6.10.15

Cause

Some text elements overlap, and graphics do not resize properly.

Resolution

Note: Before starting the update, perform the following:
  • Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.
  • Connect the AC adapter if updates are being run on a laptop.
  • Ensure that power remains connected if updates are being run on a desktop.

Updating the AWCC to version 6.13.8 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the AWCC, refer to the Driver Update Guide.
