Symptoms

vProxy VM이 암호화된 경우 NVP(NetWorker VMware Protection) 백업이 실패합니다. 반환되는 오류 메시지는 다음과 같습니다.

Backup has FAILED. Failed to backup virtual disk "Hard disk 3".  "Failed to initialize Block Reader. Failed to open source VMDK"
VMDK 'XXX-XXX] vm_name.vmdk': VDDK Error: 13: You do not have access rights to this file.

 

Cause

암호화된 vProxy가 암호화되지 않은 VM을 보호하고 있습니다.

 

Resolution

NetWorker VMware 통합 가이드에서는 암호화된 VM을 사용할 때 자동 vProxy 선택을 사용하지 말고 vProxy를 암호화된 정책에 수동으로 할당할 것을 제안합니다.
그러나 암호화된 VM을 암호화된 vProxy로만 분리하고 암호화되지 않은 VM을 암호화되지 않은 vProxy로 분리하는 것이 중요합니다.
