Symptoms

  • 无法在 NetWorker Management Console （NMC） 企业窗口中查看 Data Domain 统计信息。

Status information is not available due to missing or incorrect SNMP Community string

NMC 上的状态信息错误

 

  • 在 Data Domain 主机上创建社区字符串，并在 SNMP 社区的“主机”列表中定义 NMC 服务器。

  • 社区字符串是在 NMC - Enterprise 中的 Data Domain 属性上定义的。

  • SNMP 轮询请求不会从 NMC 服务器发出。
  • SNMP 端口 161 在 Data Domain 主机上处于打开状态。

 

Cause

名称解析问题。映射到 NMC 服务器的主机表中的 Data Domain 的 IP 地址错误。

 

Resolution

  1. 在 NetWorker Management Console （NMC） 服务器上，确认您可以解析 Data Domain 主机并连接到端口 161。
    nsrports -t DD_HOSTNAME -p 161

  1. 解决观察到的任何名称解析或端口连接问题。

    如果 nsrports 不可用，您可以使用以下作系统命令：Linux： curl -v DD_HOSTNAME:161
    Windows (PowerShell)： tnc DD_HOSTNAME -p 161

 

  1. 检查 NMC 服务器上的作系统主机文件，并更正或删除指向分配给 Data Domain 主机的 IP 地址的任何条目。

  2. 重新启动 NMC 服务：
    Linux： systemctl restart gstd
    Windows：
    net stop gstd
    net start gstd
