DDMC 8.3, 8.4: Releases Do Not Allow Adding DD System Which Does Not Support Smart Scale Service in the Datacenter

Symptoms
The DDMC 8.3 and 8.4 allows managed-systems that do not support Smart Scale Services, but they are unable to be added to new or existing Datacenters.
Cause
The DDMC UI for release 8.3 and 8.4 excludes systems that do not support Smart Scale Services from the list of available systems for data center creation and editing. However, the expected behavior is to include non-Smart Scale models in this list.
Resolution
Workaround:
Workaround is available to allow systems that do not support Smart Scale Services in DDMC Datacenter. Contact Dell Technologies Support to apply the workaround.
The permanent fix is available in DDMC 8.5 and later releases.
