Symptoms

Після успішної реєстрації сервера Linux AIX у PowerProtect Data Manager наступне завдання виявлення може провалитися через таку помилку:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

IPv6 — це вхід у /etc/hosts файл на сервері Linux AIX, який відсутній або прокоментований.

The /etc/hosts файл на сервері Linux AIX має містити такі рядки:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

Щоб вирішити проблему, додайте або скасуйте відсутній рядок у розділі /etc/hosts file і перезапустити службу агентів PowerProtect.
