Instructions

One of the I/O modules on slot_2 was faulted and cannot be loaded during data mover reboot. In order to restore access for end users before replacing the I/O module, failover the server_2 to slot_3.

However, there was a PCI components mismatch error due to the faulted I/O module.

[nasadmin@cs0 /]$ server_standby server_2 -activate mover
server_2 :
Error 12032: server_2 : PCI components mismatch: blade hardware on standby server_3 does not match exactly the primary blade hardware.

To work around this issue, power off slot_2 and failover again.

[nasadmin@cs0 /]$ /nas/sbin/t2reset pwroff -s 2
[nasadmin@cs0 /]$ server_standby server_2 -activate mover
server_2 :
 server_2 : going offline
 server_3 : going active
 replace in progress ...done
 failover activity complete
 commit  in progress (not interruptible)...done

server_2 : renamed as server_2.faulted.server_3
server_3 : renamed as server_2
...
