Symptoms

수명주기 프로그램 watchdog timer expired ESXi 노드에 대한 경고입니다.

Cause

ESXi에서 iSM 서비스가 제대로 실행되지 않아 이 문제가 발생할 수 있습니다. iSM 서비스는 iDRAC를 통해 OS와 통신하며 문제가 있는 경우 알림을 트리거할 것으로 예상됩니다.

확인할 때 dcism 또는 dellism에서 다음 상태 중 하나를 확인할 수 있습니다. active not running, active running with limited functionality, or inactive dead

vSphere 7.x:

/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog status

vSphere 8.x:

/etc/init.d/dellism status

Resolution

  1. SSH를 사용하여 영향을 받는 노드에 ESXi에 연결합니다.
  2. iSM 상태를 확인합니다.

vSphere 7.x의 경우:

/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog status

vSphere 8.x의 경우:

/etc/init.d/dellism status
  1. iSM이 실행되고 있지 않으면 iSM 서비스를 재시작하고 그 후 상태를 확인합니다.

vSphere 7.x의 경우:

/etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog stop
/etc/init.d/sfcbd-watchdog start
/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog restart
/etc/init.d/dcism-netmon-watchdog status

vSphere 8.x의 경우:

/etc/init.d/dellism stop
/etc/init.d/dellism start
/etc/init.d/dellism status

iSM이 제대로 가동되고 실행되어야 합니다. iSM이 여전히 실행되고 있지 않은 경우:

  • iDRAC 재부팅
  • iDRAC가 완전히 시작될 때까지 기다립니다(5분 이내에 완료).
  • 다음을 사용하여 iSM 서비스를 다시 시작하십시오. esxcli 명령을

여전히 실행되고 있지 않으면 powerdrain 노드를 열고 iSM 상태를 확인합니다.

iSM이 실행 중인 것으로 표시되면 iDRAC에서 SEL을 지우면 이제 정상으로 표시되고 watchdog timer expired 알림이 트리거되면 안 됩니다.
