Symptoms

Script GDDRPA23, in a STAR with AutoSwap configuration, was automatically submitted by the GDDR Event Manager (EVM) to resume ConGroup from DC2 to DC1 and the secondary site was not displayed in the banner correctly.  An '*' was displayed instead of DC1.

The script was automatically submitted by the EVM.

The issue occurs if the script is submitted manually using the
F GDDRMAIN,SCRIPT,GDDRPA23 
command.

Cause

This is a software issue.

Resolution

Permanent Fix:
  • For GDDR 6.0, PTF GD60020 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Technologies Online Support.
