Symptoms
When a PowerProtect DD remote system is configured and in use, copying data from an Instant Access session might result in an unexpected software module panic or node reboot.
This symptom tends to occur when the data transfer network is slow.
This symptom tends to occur when the data transfer network is slow.
Cause
With high latency networks, host I/O token requests to PowerProtect DD are delayed and can lead to Node panic.
Resolution
There is no direct workaround. A higher transfer speed or lower latency in the data transfer network environment may reduce the possibility of experiencing this symptom. Examine the network infrastructure between the Storage Direct, PowerStore, and Host systems, and reduce network latencies.
