De eindgebruiker merkt op dat Preventie van geavanceerde bedreigingen niet wordt geactiveerd en controleert de DellAgent-logboekbestanden onder:

C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection

U ziet de volgende foutmelding:

Let op: Voer deze stappen alleen uit als dit de exacte foutmelding is die u ziet, omdat dit negatieve gevolgen kan hebben als dit niet het probleem is.
Opmerking: Voer de volgende opdrachten uit vanaf een opdrachtprompt met verhoogde bevoegdheid.

Voer deze opdracht uit om de WMI-repository te controleren:

winmgmt /verifyrepository

Als wordt vastgesteld dat het inconsistent is, voert u deze opdracht uit:

winmgmt /salvagerepository

Klik met de rechtermuisknop op het pictogram Dell Data Security in het systeemvak en selecteer Controleren op policy-updates. De agent registreert en na een paar minuten wordt 'Preventie van geavanceerde bedreigingen' groen.
