DD Boost는 LDAP(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)를 지원하지 않습니다. DD Boost는 DD Boost에 할당된 로컬 사용자 이름을 사용하여 스토리지 유닛에 액세스합니다.

DD Boost 스토리지 유닛에 액세스하려면 로컬 사용자를 생성한 다음 스토리지 유닛이 사용자에게 할당되는 스토리지 유닛을 생성합니다. 

로컬 사용자를 추가하려면 다음을 수행합니다. 
# user add <user>
                [role {admin | limited-admin | security |
                user | backup-operator | none}
                [min-days-between-change <days>]
                [max-days-between-change <days>]
                [warn-days-before-expire <days>]
                [disable-days-after-expire <days>]
                [disable-date <date>]
                [force-password-change {yes | no}]
                                       Add a new user
DD Boost에 로컬 사용자를 할당하려면 다음과 같이 합니다. 
# ddboost user assign <user-name-list>
특정 스토리지 유닛에 특정 사용자를 할당하려면 다음을 수행합니다. 
# ddboost storage-unit modify <storage-unit>
                [user <user-name>] [tenant-unit <tenant-unit | none>]
                [quota-soft-limit <n | none> {MiB|GiB|TiB|PiB}]
                [quota-hard-limit <n | none> {MiB|GiB|TiB|PiB}]
                [report-physical-size <n | none> {MiB|GiB|TiB|PiB}]
                [write-stream-soft-limit <n | none>]
                [read-stream-soft-limit <n | none>]
                [repl-stream-soft-limit <n | none>]
                [combined-stream-soft-limit <n | none>]
                [combined-stream-hard-limit <n | none>]
                                       Modify storage-unit user, tenant and/or
                                       quota limits
예: 
# ddboost user show
     ostuser
스토리지 유닛 STU1 가정 
# ddboost storage-unit modify STU1 user ostuser
DD Boost는 각 사용자 및 스토리지 유닛에 대한 레지스트리 값을 생성하여 어떤 사용자가 어떤 스토리지 유닛에 할당되었는지 추적합니다. 당사는 데이터를 처리할 때 이 정보를 사용합니다.  
 
애플리케이션은 접속을 설정할 때 DD Boost에 사용자 이름과 해당 사용자의 암호를 제공합니다.
