PowerProtect Data Manager: Command get_dd_mtree_credential.py Produces No Output

Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) command get_dd_mtree_credential.py <mtree> produces no output.

For example:  
cd /usr/local/brs/puppet/scripts

./get_dd_mtree_credential.py mtree
/usr/local/brs/puppet/scripts>

Cause

The script get_dd_mtree_credential.py was accidentally zero'ed out.
ls -ltr 
...
-rwxr-x--- 1 admin app       0 Sep 18 11:16 get_dd_mtree_credential.py
...

Resolution

  1. Contact PowerProtect Data Manager support to get a copy of the script.
  2. Copy the script to directory /usr/local/brs/puppet/scripts.
  3. Run the following command: 
chmod 755 get_dd_mtree_credential.py.
chown admin:app get_dd_mtree_credential.py.
