O carregamento para a imagem do Cinder não funcionará se o volume estiver conectado:
 
Cinder upload-to-image --force true --disk-format qcow2 volume_name image

Depois de criar uma imagem de resumo, o olhar recebe uma solicitação de exclusão imediatamente:

Esse problema foi resolvido na versão KILO do driver de cinder.
