Dell EMC Unity: Cannot configure an IPv4 SMTP server (Error Code:0x6000872)

Symptoms
Changing the SMTP server fails from Unisphere and / or UEMCLI command.
The reported error is
Operation failed. Error code: 0x6000872 Cannot configure an IPv4 SMTP server without first configuring a management port IPv4 address. (Error Code:0x6000872).
Management IP was configured as we had access to Unisphere and we verified with UEMCLI commands as well.
uemcli /net/if/mgmt show
1: IP protocol version = ipv4
Address origin = automatic
IP address = 10.x.x.x
Subnet mask = 255.255.240.0
Gateway = 10.x.x.x

Resolution
Restart Management Services in Unisphere
Under SYSTEM select the Service option
Click on Service Task
Select Restart Management Software
Click Execute
Click OK
Management Services will take 4 - 6 minutes to restart.
Attempt to change the SMTP server again.
If error persist please contact Support.

Click OK
