Symptoms

ホストベースのUnisphereのインストール中に、postgresユーザーとグループが作成され、次のエラー メッセージが表示されます。

Unisphere for VMAX Configuration Error. Installation will be aborted.

SMAS Database timeout cannot be started.

 

# service smas start
Looking for config file at /opt/emc/SMAS/jboss/domain/configuration/domain.xml.init

Cause

postgresユーザーが /etc/passwd が /sbin/nologin

例：

 

/etc/passwd:postgres:x:504:504::/home/postgres:/sbin/nologin
/etc/group:postgres:x:504:

 

Resolution

この問題に対処するには、次の手順を実行します。

  1. [Change]を /etc/passwd そのため、postgresユーザーには有効なシェルがあります。例： /bin/bash
  2. 次に、Unisphere for VMAXをアンインストールして再インストールします。
