Il backup Application Aware iniziale di PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) non riesce

Viene visualizzato il registro del processo dell'interfaccia utente PPDM:

Cause

Una versione precedente del software Microsoft SQL Application Direct è stata installata in un point-in-time. Quando viene rimosso dal computer, il vecchio archivio protetto viene dimenticato. La versione corrente del software non è in grado di aggiornare i lockbox meno recenti.

Questo problema può verificarsi quando sono state utilizzate versioni precedenti del software o quando si è verificata la transizione da backup Microsoft SQL Application Direct a backup VMware Application Aware.

 

Resolution

  1. Rinominare la directory del lockbox

    ren  C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox,previous

  2. Riprovare a eseguire il backup

Nota: La directory del lockbox viene ricreata all'inizio del backup successivo.
