Dell Storage, Compellent: Alert: Storage Manager-serverinstallatie mislukt "Fout bij inschakelen van MPIO"

Symptoms

In Windows Server 2016 wordt de vlag die wordt ingesteld om aan te geven of een functie al dan niet is ingeschakeld, pas ingesteld na het opnieuw opstarten. In Dell Storage Manager, bij het uitvoeren van de Server Setup wizard, wordt de onderstaande foutmelding weergegeven omdat de markering niet is ingesteld.  
Fout bij het inschakelen van MPIO op de localhost

Cause

De vlag is niet gezet.

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing:
  1. Installeer MPIO op systemen waarop Windows Server 2016 wordt uitgevoerd.
  2. Start de server opnieuw op.
  3. Controleer of MPIO is geïnstalleerd met behulp van een van de volgende opties:
  • Running PowerShell command:
get-windowsfeature multipath-io
De "Install State" moet worden weergegeven als "Installed".
  • Controleer het configuratiescherm van Windows op MPIO
  1. Open Dell Storage Manager en voer de wizard voor installatie van de server uit. 
  2. Als de bovenstaande fout optreedt, moet u de server opnieuw opstarten en de wizard opnieuw uitvoeren.

Resolutie:
De oplossing bevindt zich in de update van maart 2018 3B pakket KB 4088787 (wat een cumulatief pakket is).
Gebruik de PowerShell-opdracht om te controleren op geïnstalleerde updates:  
Get-HotFix |ft HotfixID, InstalledOn
