How can I resolve Invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 015F errors when opening Microsoft Office or Adobe applications? - Technical Tip - 164276

Resolution

Delete the Microsoft® Office shortcut from the StartUp folder.

To remedy this problem, the Office StartUp program must be deleted from the StartUp folder. To delete the Microsoft Office shortcut from the StartUp folder perform the following steps:

  1. Click on START | SETTINGS | TASKBAR .
  2. Click on the Start Menu Programs tab, then on the Advanced button.
  3. A Windows Explorer window will open. On the left side, click-on the "+" sign to the left of Programs.
  4. In the list of folders under Programs, click on StartUp.
  5. On the right side look for the Office StartUp application.
  6. Click on it once to highlight it, then press the [Delete] key on the keyboard.
  7. A message will be displayed asking if you want to delete this shortcut.
  8. Click on Yes.

NOTE: You will have to restart your computer after you remove the Office StartUp shortcut from the StartUp folder.



The problems can occur when Office StartUp is loading in the StartUp folder.
