Symptoms
The user is unable to accept an Actionable Event for an ESXi host being added to a cluster with the below error. New discoveries of the vCenter do not create new Actionable Events.
ViPR Controller GUI shows the following error:
Error 1013: Event cannot be approved because its state is declined
Cause
In this case, the Actionable Event was already declined. Further investigation shows that there was a newer Actionable Event with the same changes that was already approved. Since the Actionable Event was already successfully approved, new vCenter discoveries found no differences between vCenter and the ViPR Controller's database to create a new Actionable Event.
Resolution
Workaround:
There is no workaround for this issue. The Actionable Event was already approved.
Red declined actionable events will go away in 30 days.
