在磁碟機開始記錄錯誤 - 軟體媒體錯誤和 01|18|ff 後，系統管理員觀察到陣列上出現嚴重的效能問題，隨後會中止、選取逾時和命令逾時。

列出零件編號和韌體的磁碟機。陣列可能會將錯誤報告為 "Soft media error" 和 01|18|ff 隨後發生軟體 SCSI 匯流排錯誤 “[IncidentalAbort]", “[Select timeout]", and “[Command timeout]". 磁碟機可能會在一個 SP 上離線，但在第二個回報類似錯誤的 SP 上保持作用中狀態。

Cause

發生大量資料錯誤的磁碟機會以韌體內的較長命令逾時設定執行內部錯誤復原，這可能會導致磁碟機發生效能問題

磁碟機內建的錯誤復原功能通常會在可接受的時間限制內回應，但有時由於 NAND 的瑕疵，需要復原的區塊數量可能很大，再加上長命令，逾時設定可能會導致命令逾時過長，並影響陣列的效能。

如果可以實體存取系統：
卸下已識別為報告 Soft SCSI 匯流排錯誤和 [命令逾時]
的磁碟機，將移除的磁碟機替換為同等的備援磁碟機。  請勿在 5 分鐘內插入替換磁碟機，讓系統從同位檢查重新建置備援磁碟機。
如有必要，請聯絡 Dell 技術支援部門，要求更換導致效能問題的磁碟機。
