Symptoms

Når du utsteder KOSTNADSFRI MED CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS (NEI/JA) mot den elektroniske enheten, viser ESNPT31E-meldingen at årsaken til feilen oppstår.

Cause

Dette skyldes et programvareproblem.

Resolution

The code has been updated to fail with the appropriate ESNPT31E message depending on the CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS settings.    
                                              
If devices are online to a current system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(N) is specified , the
 ' ESNPT31E FREE TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO THIS SYSTEM. THE TARGET DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO THIS SYSTEM' error is issued.   

If devices are online to any system and CHECKONLINEPATHSTATUS(Y) is specified, the ' ESNPT31E FREE                
TARGET DEVICE WAS FOUND ONLINE TO A SYSTEM. THE TARGET  DEVICE MUST BE OFFLINE TO ALL SYSTEMS ' error is issued.

  • For mainframe Enablers 8.5 er PTF SN85069 utviklet for å løse problemet. Det er tilgjengelig for nedlasting fra Dells kundestøtte på Internett.
  • For mainframe Enablers 8.4 er PTF SN84088 utviklet for å løse problemet. Det er tilgjengelig for nedlasting fra Dells kundestøtte på Internett.
