Dell Unity: NTP server is partially unreachable messages generated after OE 5.2.0 upgrade (Dell Correctable)

Multiple factors can cause the NTP server to become unreachable. During the investigation if other NTP messages are seen, or the server does not become reachable the customer may be hitting a different issue.

In Unity OE 5.2.x the array monitors configured NTP servers every hour. In the event the NTP server is not fully synced during that hour update a NTP server is partially unreachable message will generate. Once the NTP server is able to sync a

NTP server is partially unreachablemessages are warnings only, not an error on the Unity array. More investigation is needed to determine what external factors are causing the NTP server sync issue.
Resolution
Dell is aware of this and is logging additional NTP messages to help identify and troubleshoot this in a future OE release. Contact Dell Technical Support , and quote this Dell Knowledge Base article ID.
