Symptoms

Computers kunnen geen verbinding maken via AMT of ISM met niet-TLS-netwerkcommunicatie (Transport Layer Security) na het upgraden van het computer-BIOS met ME-firmwareversie 16.1.25.1991 of later.

Cause

Niet-TLS-netwerkcommunicatie kan minder veilig zijn dan TLS-netwerkcommunicatie, omdat niet-TLS-communicatie niet is versleuteld, terwijl TLS-netwerkcommunicatie wel is versleuteld.

Resolution

Niet-TLS-netwerkcommunicatie

Computers die worden geleverd met de Intel Core 12e generatie CPU's en Intel Xeon W-3400/W-2400, AMT/ISM bieden geen ondersteuning meer voor niet-TLS-netwerkcommunicatie.

Dit is verwacht gedrag. Intel heeft de optie verwijderd om niet-TLS-netwerkcommunicatie te kiezen om gebruikers te helpen veiligere oplossingen te bieden aan klanten.
