Cause

This behavior is caused by the firmware of the headset.

Resolution

Update Firmware

To resolve this issue, update the firmware on the headset and USB dongle to the latest version of the firmware. Updating either one may only cause the headset to have issues or not to work.

If the issue persists, follow the workaround below:

  1. Switch to "Other Devices" in the "Audio Settings" screen and then switch back to "Headset (AW720H Chat)."
  2. Turn Off the sound Settings and turn them back On.
  3. Reinsert the USB dongle connection and Restart the headset.
