Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255 Control WLAN Radio Does Not Work After Resuming From Hibernation or Shutdown

Summary: The Control WLAN Radio setting in the BIOS does not function as expected after resuming from hibernation or shutdown on the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255.

Symptoms

When Control WLAN Radio is enabled in the BIOS, the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255 checks for the connection of a wired network cable to the computer. If connected to a dock, Control WLAN Radio also checks for a wired network cable connected to the dock. If a wired network connection is present, the wireless (WLAN and WWAN) radio signals are disabled. When the wired network is disconnected, the wireless radios are reenabled.

When the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255 has Control WLAN Radio enabled with a wired network cable connected and enters a hibernation or shutdown state, the wireless WLAN and WWAN radio signals function. Because of the Control WLAN Radio setting, they are expected to be disabled instead of enabled.
