Symptoms

The computer may not be able to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network in SupportAssist OS Recovery.

Cause

The WiFi profile mechanism in Windows 11 24H2 does not correctly hand the wireless connection over to SupportAssist OS Recovery.

Resolution

Updating to SupportAssist OS Recovery version 5.5.13.2 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the SupportAssist OS Recovery, open SupportAssist, select Update software, and select Check for updates.
