The file failed to parse the inventory.ini on creation causing the file to be empty.
Resolution
This command regenerates the inventory.ini file whenever an issue is detected, including during automated inventory file generation, and can also be run manually at any time an issue with the file is found.
sudo xdoctor autopilot --inventory
