When the PARM_VERIFY=YES parameter is specified in the ResourcePak Base initialization file, the incorrect EMCP020E EXTRANEOUS DATA IN COMMAND; FOUND: ")"  message is displayed.

Causa

This is due to a software issue.

Resolución

Permanent Fix:
  • For Mainframe Enablers 8.5, PTF SF85111 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Online Support.
  • For Mainframe Enablers 8.4, PTF SF84158 has been developed to correct the issue. It is available to download from Dell Online Support.
