Symptômes
Wi-Fi 6E Not Supported on Client Linux OS
Wi-Fi 6E is a new generation of Wi-Fi technology which distinguishes forthcoming Wi-Fi 6 devices that are capable of 6GHz spectrum that may soon be made available by regulators around the world. The new technologies offer higher performance, lower latency and faster data rates
To enable this feature, you need check below items are available:
- 6Ghz band has been opened by your country or region’s regulator
- Your wireless module on your PC supports Wi-Fi 6E
- Your Wi-Fi router supports Wi-Fi 6E
- You operating system supports Wi-Fi 6E
Following Linux OS (Ubuntu 20.04, RHEL 8.4, Kylin V10 series) shipping on Dell personal computers does not support Wi-Fi 6E. Support is expected in later Linux OS versions.
